I spend a lot of time just writing and deleting my posts. I am way to sappy and sentimental at times and uncomfortable posting it all over the internet I guess. Though I don't think anyone really reads this outside of myself.
I started replanting my garden into bigger containers yesterday. My big project over spring break is going to get my compost pile going. I'm going to use this plan: http://www.yougrowgirl.com/garden/urbancomposting.php
I'm hoping that using the contents of my shredder instead of newspaper won't affect it too much. A lot of this whole gardening experience is going to be trial and error for me, I've never done it before and really- how hard can it be? That just spells trouble.
I'm hoping that if I can't find enough brown stuff around here, that maybe I can run up to my friend's house and grab a couple bags of leaves out of the yard. There's a lot of wood in this area though, I can probably just collect it there. I figure that by the time I actually get things outside, the compost will be ready- yay!
